Yeast infection under breasts

Had the same problem for years and was type II diabetic.  I would also get yeast infections in my belly button and vaginal yeast infections almost monthly.  They are so hard to get rid of.  But I was told my by gyne to use the yeast infection cream you can buy over the counter like Monistat or Gyne-Lotriman...and it worked.  You need to treat it with actual yeast infection medicine.  You can always buy the generic brand from the drug store like Walgreens or CVS.  And as others have said try to keep the area as dry as possible (which I know is difficult).  In the evenings I would sit with a towel or pillow case under my breasts to keep them dry and then apply the cream before I went to bed.  It may take a few days, but it will go away.  But until you have your surgery, you'll have to keep on top of it.  Good luck!

The thing that has worked best for me is to use generic yeast cream until the infection clears up.  Then I use gel deodorant any where on my body that I have skin on skin problems.  Under arms, breasts, groin, belly button,  apron, butt crack  (TMI I know) &  behind my knees.

I have tried solids,  roll-on, & sprays but the gel works better for me. Just make sure if you use lotion to put it on an let it dry before using the deodorant.

I used get this myself.  I found relief with athelet's foot cream at night, then in the daytime, I would do the cream again, with a paper towel tucked in my breast to absorb the moisture through the day (also held in with my bra).

I've tried everything otc.  Powders, corn starch, deodorant stick, Lamisil, Vaginal yeast infection cream, foot powder...and it actually seems to be getting worse!!  I've been obese for years, never had such a problem in my life until the last 6mos. It's painful, itchy, weepy and I feel like I'm going insane!!  For years I prevented chafing using just regular talcum powder which worked great, then on really hot days I'd add stick deodorant which also really worked...but suddenly this year, out of the blue its as if my body has decided to attack me! I've actually lost nearly forty pounds on my own and now I just want to cry when I come home from work.  Because I work long hours, reapplication and constant tending isn't possible. I use a cotton sports bra, cornstarch mixed with calomine powder and lamisil immediately after showering and making sure the areas affected are very dry, I also use a clean cotton hand towel under my apron and clean cotton sock under each breast. It doesn't make it go away but I can at least get through a work day without crying from the itch. (Hair driers only make me sweat more!)  All my "tricks" and preventative measures have seemed to just stop working entirely.  I'm at my wits end. It itches and hurts so badly I can't stand it and feel like I want to rip my skin off!

Gold Bond Baby Powder--dry the breasts after showering and put on the powder before putting on your bra.  Put it on again at nite--cleared mine up in a jiffy!
