I get that every once in a while and I use a thin lay of OTC Lamisil foot fungal cream (generic isn't as effective) with J & J cornstarch baby powder.  Works like a charm!  Use 2x day for 5 days.  Even if it clears up, keep using for the 5 days.

Good luck!

This is interesting, I did not try them together.

There is a prescription cream that works well for this, Ketoconazole cream, 2%, get a script from your doctor and use it 2 or 3 times a day until it is gone.  Clears up pretty quick.  Sorry you are suffering, and lots of luck.

I used this Ketoconazole creame 2% as well as the prescription strenth oral Lamisil.  I only had to take 1 pill and it took care of it.  It would return after a few months then I did the same regimine.  Diabetics are especially prone to this.  After RNY I don't take insulin or diabetic meds at all and my A1C is running 5.5!!  Another very important thing you need to do is to make sure you wear a clean bra and change it often if you can, otherwise it will just re-infect.  Good luck!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

This was just discussed on one of our Yahoo groups !

Do not use powder.  Use deodorant.  Yeast love corn starch.
You can use spray on or the regular underarm.

Good luck !

I don't know about regular corn starch but the baby powder one was definately one that fed the "beast"! I will try deodorant when this is cleared up.
Thanks

I get these rashes also.  I have tried it all - Rx creams, desitin ointment, corn starch, powder, cheeseburger wrappers (just kidding).

What works best for me is Athlete's foot spray.  Even the generic works.  It clears up for me within a couple of days.  I start using it again at the first sign of a flare up.
