Sounds like a good choice to me actually. :) I wish we had one of them around here.

My advice skip the chicken though because its very tough for most people post op and beef is tough tooooo sometimes.

yummy--- theres a place near me called Desert Moon and I get the black bean rice bowls, its similar to what ur describing, there is rice (i can handle rice now) black beans, shrimp, chicken, steak or tofu, (i usually get shrimp) cheese, sour cream and salsa...  i think the burrito bowl is fine, but take it slow when ur eating it!

That sounds like EXACTLY what I like to order for myself at Qdoba!! Vert early out, hubby and I just shared a "naked burrito" (in a bowl) minus rice, with black AND pinto beans. (usually with chicken or shredded pork or beef, I forget which... lol) I really could only eat a few bites. Now, I would just get my own probably, and have a few meals out of it! Take it slow, and if you're not feelin' it, stop!! But, I usually do just fine with this, and it was also a favorite of mine pre-op! Yummy!

The RNY forum has nutritional guidelines which may be helpful since you're having the issue with your doctor's office:

http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/rny/nutritional-guidelines -after-roux-en-y-gastric-bypass-surgery.html

I used quite a bit of the info after I started on normal foods because, even though I did receive guidelines from my doc, they weren't very thorough.

Hope this help!

What I do is go to thedailyplate.com.  They have a lot of chains on their and you can look up the nutritional information of what you are eating.  That way if you get the Burrito Bowl (I looked it is on there) you can estimate how much you could/should eat.

I have no idea what, who or where "Chipotle" is, but DAMN it sounds good!!!  I love Mexican food, so I am looking forward to having it soon.

When I need help with nutritional info., I too go to www.thedailyplate.com.

Sorry to hear about your lawsuit pending - GOOD LUCK with that!
