You had me worried with the stats on the Optisource, Andrea, but I faithfully take 4 a day, & I added Calcium citrate & another iron pill to it. I think I'm good to go.

...works for me. Thanks. I'm tired also.
That would be awesome.
I know you said some people will only take one. But as far as I can tell the "2x adult dose" message is given out pretty strongly. If people can't retain that, well... they certainly aren't going to read any of your posts ... too many words and some of them more than 2 syllables, ya know.

Dear Andrea,
Thank you very much for the research. This is a very confusing and important subject and everyone (me included) should do their homework on this topic. It's only our lives we are dealing with here!
And for the newbie that wants a 4 year degree before you discuss this, two words - SHUT UP!
I HAVE relied on my "DEGREED" medical and nutritional professionals and have already been hospitalized with potassium deficiency, have Rickett's and am STILL WAITING for Kaiser to schedule me for labs to see what else is low or in danger of low.
I must now resort to my own 4 year degree (Liberal Arts!) and begin a comprehensive study to ensure that I don't die at the advice of my "DEGREED" nutritionist who seems to think that nothing that is going on is a big deal. (No big deal to her when I can't get out of bed some days because I am so weak and tired. No big deal to her when my joints ache so badly due to Vitamin D deficiency. No big deal to her when I have to be hospitalized for several days with Potassium deficiency and no big deal to her when I spend countless hours being infused with the most painful infusion of Potassium! all because I followed her crap ass instructions for supplements! So much for the VALUE of her 4 year degree!)
I am a relative newbie too. I have no other experience but my own but I can tell the newer newbie this - arrogance about info that is passed along by REAL experts who have lived as GB patients for years know more than you think. Benefit by their years of experience and prosper from the free info that you receive from this site. Is it all absolutely correct? Probably not, but picking on the informant is not the way to go. Go spend your time researching like Andrea did, post contrasting info for debate and help us all in the process. I didn't see any where that Andrea posed as a MD, Nut or anything else. Hell, she doesn't even claim to play one on TV! She is just addressing a vitally important issue. If you don't like her delivery, Oh F**King well. Once you have been here a while longer, you too, will lose your patience with stupid people who ask the most ridiculous questions, apparently have never researched a single thing for themselves, don't listen to their docs, etc. and wonder why they are sick, tired, etc. You will read posts from people with gaping head wounds who wonder if they should go to the emergency room!! (exaggeration but believe me when I say I have seen some amazing questions pass through here!)
Again, Andrea, THANK YOU SO MUCH. You have helped me by giving me a base of discussion for my surgeon and NUT.
