5 Month Surgiversary..Finally in onederland, over 100 pounds lost, and down 12 sizes (pics...
Wow so much to report on, and don't know if I'll even be able to remember it all. Well it has officially been 5 months since my surgery (post is a couple days late though) These are some of the updates
*I have lost a total of 102 pounds
*Starting weight was 300 pounds, and now I'm in onderland at 198 (I still accidently type a "2" in front of that number though lol)
*I use to be a size 26 and now I'm a size 14
* Only medical condition I had before was a mild sleep apnea, and now that's gone too
Overall my life is FANTASTIC!!! I have gone out dancing for the first time in years without getting tired or having a body ache the next day. I have so much more energy and my husband is always showing me off like a "trophy wife." lol Now I get way more attention (especially from the male gender) and can I just say it that in a weird way it feels nice to feel like "eye candy" for others lol
I have to be honest though. I have become a "little" vain since wls, oh who am I kidding I've become REALLY vain since wls. lol I never leave the house without makeup, heels, and a great set of accesories to go with my outfit. I am always hounding everyone so we can take photos, and I'm actually standing in front of the group this time.
ok and here's another thing, but ssh don't tell anyone but I recently got my work review. I received a 10% raise where the average is 4%. I was told in my review that I have been more active, dressing better, and have become overall a much better employee (especially since surgery) but sssh here is where the secret comes in. Since surgery even though I do dress better and I never look like a zombie anymore, I actuall work LESS and I'm always turning things in late (where as before I turned things in early) but somehow since surgery It "appears" that I have become more productive. hhm interesting right. Well not complaining, who would I am getting paid more money for doing less work then before after all. hehehe go figure
I'm just greatful for this new lease on life, and I am going to take advantage of ever single oppurtunity.
Below are some photos and I have a few more in my bio. Thanks for letting me share.
