OT: Still haven't received stimulus check...anyone else?

I had to pay this year, which I did so I knew it would be paper check, but to date I still haven't received it.

Calling the IRS hotline is futile....even when I enter all my info it has no information for me.  I tried calling the local office and it is also automated and says no live calls are taken.

Anyone else have this situation?  If so anyone know of another way to get info?

My sister had to pay and she received her check 2 weeks ago....so I don't think it's that.

I've almost resigned to the fact that I may not get "stimulated" at all. 

 

i recieved a portion of my stimulus check, i received 600 for me, but never received 300 for my son.  i heard they did make a mistake and we were supposed to get the rest in july, so far nothing.

I received mine in paper check form, 2 weeks later than scheduled and was supposed to be automatically deposited, so hang in there.  Amazing how screwed up the whole thing got!  Be patient, it'll come!!!

My husbans last two digits is 97.  We just received the letter last week that it was on the way.  It will be a direct deposit.

I haven't gotten mine either, so I completely understand.  We really need that money too to get my dh's air conditioning fixed in his car.  I live in Texas so it's HOT!

Edited: Just wanted to add that we also had to pay this year and they, of course, cashed that check asap.  However, about a week ago we got a letter from the IRS saying the couldn't issue us a check because we hadn't signed something on our form properly, so we had to sign some paper they sent us.  That just ****** me off.  Sure, they can take my money w/o proper signatures, but oh no, they can't issue me the stupid check.  Plus they said it would take 6-8 weeks from when they got the paper we just signed to process our check.  Um, hello?  I sent my payment and stuff into them in MARCH!

We got ours direct deposited months ago. And it was spent rather quickly too!!

I'm in the EXACT same situation! I just got off the phone with both offices and got the same responses. Hubby and I could really use the money and were hoping to use it this month... according to the chart and our numbers we should have had the check last month....

We'll have to keep waiting I suppose!

Not everyone qualifies--if your income is too high, for example.
