Oh how horrible.  I certainly feel for both you and your daughter.  Have you considered getting a restraining order?  You may need one since he had the b----'s to call and remind her of the driving lesson.  I wish both of you good luck with nailing him.

Hit the local media and make them aware of the story and they will run with it. As a father I would track him down and kill him. I doubt I would get more than few years in a minimum security jail

I am glad he turned himself in and that she is doing ok so far.  Hopefully justice will take its course and make it where he can never do this again.  Keep hanging in there!  We are all here for you and your daughter!  Sounds like she has a good head on her shoulders for taking charge of her situation.  Best of luck to her!!

I am sorta going thru the same ordeal with my 19 yr old daughter.. she met a guy , whos 19 and they talked for 6 days,, and he was telling her he loved her and he came to my house once, then on sunday a week ago on June 29.. he flipped his lid...... first he came to my house sunday morning unannounced and woke her up, i was home, but figured he was invited, until, i heard her fussing with him that he had to leave, she was sleeping.  he came back about an hour later and just let himself into my house, and walked into her room and started unpluging all the electrical things in her room from the wall and sat on her bed, and said,  i bet you think i am crazy.  she asked him to leave that she had plans for the day , he left pissed , cussing her and wa*****hing his car and the tree in my front yard, he did leave but  .....he called and texted her cellphone more than 100 times in about a 6 hour span, then he hunted her down and found her in a local chinese rest. while she was with my mom and sister.   She avoided his calls all day...   then at 1030 that same night.. she finally answered the phone when he called.. she was at home, so i heard the conversation on the phone.    she asked him NOT to call her again..   that he was scaring her with all the phone calls and hunting her down while she was out.   the next day, while she was at work.. he called her again, a guy she works with answered her cellphone and the boy , went crazy hollering and screaming , wanting to know where she was and who was answering her phone.     6 minutes later she got a death threat for both her and the boy she works with..   we went to the police dept and had a report made.  and they listened to most of the messages and read the text messages. well the next day.. we went to swear out a warrant, (july1)  and the court officer, listened to all the recordings and text and issued the warrant for communication harrasement, but was hesitant to do it, she treated us like she thought my daughter had made this whole story up, and that she had known this boy for more than 6 days.    This boy was arrested on Monday night  7.7.08 but he was able to sign his own bond of $300.oo and got out of jail.   Yesterday, his friend called my daughter and asked why she had him arrested, she played ignorant and told him she didnt know what he was talking about.  ( I told her not to talk to anyone about this case anymore ).. Anyway....  my husband and I are finally gonna get a much needed vacation for the next 4 days and we are going out of town..  please pray with me, that while we are gone and she stays with my mom and her father, that she is Safe ! That is all so odd...But hugs to your daughter for getting on with her goals and not letting the ******* own her life.   Stick by her, her story and anything else.  it sounds like this could be a rough ride legally but the important thing is your unity.... Kitty, I am so sorry this happened to your daughter. From personal experience I'd go to the media outlets and warn others of this predator. G*d only knows who else he's done this too so better to tell EVERYONE to avoid him and his "school" than to have anyone else be hurt. Your all in my thoughts and prayers!!

I was thinking that the media thing sounded good too. However, would that back fire? Seeing as they say he is "innocent until proven guilty"? Could he turn it around and toss the ball at you or whoever for slander,purgery or such? LOL I am so not a legal person.   I don't know all the in's or outs. Best of luck and be safe. Kelly
