The PERVERT turned himself in!!!!

Dear OH family: Thank you so much for letting me vent last night and for all your kind words and support!  I am so thankful for my OH family!!  Can you believe this?!?!?  The driving instructor actually called my house today and left a message reminding my daughter that they have a lesson scheduled for Thursday!!!  Is this guy for real???  Did he seriously think that he was going to not only get away with what he did to my daughter yesterday and that he was going to get the chance to do it again on Thursday?!?!?!?  It made me sick to my stomach to hear the message from him.  The good news is that after a long day of bullsh*t the PERVERT driving instructor that sexually assaulted my daughter turned himself in to the police this evening.  The bad news is that the arresting officer just phoned to let me know that the pervert was released a few minutes ago.  Unfortunately he's released on recognizance  - ROR - which means to be released from custody without bail while the case is pending.  Are you kidding me?!?!?!?  Obviously he's got restrictions.  The detective strongly suggested that the pervert refund the money paid to him for our daughter's lessons - through the police station of course.  Unfortunately, closing down his driving school is not one of the restrictions placed on him!  The whole "innocent until proven guilty" crap - blah, blah, blah.  Not what I want to hear from them.   On a more postive note, my daughter is doing well and she is staying strong.  I did not expect her to, but she got up and went to her summer school class this morning.  She's not going to let this incident stop her from attaining her goal of graduating a year early.  She also took the initiative and set up some counselling for herself. No, nothing too graphic (as I mentioned in response to the eariler post)  ..  but I think people (esp. parents, understandably) sometimes overreact a bit these days in situations whenever their child merely hollers "assault" ...  This day and age sometimes nothing more than just "swatting" a minor on the butt (esp. by an adult M) can get people crying  foul and a big uproar started ..  It;'s also not beyond scheming teenagers (esp. girls) to cry foul when nothing really happened, either to get attention they're seeking from their parents or even to try to extort money out of an accused adult ..    Frankly, I have a hard time believing a teacher would be dumb enough to actually try to rape or even fondle their own student under those cir****tances, knowing it would soon get out and his life would be over.   The fact that he actually called the parent the next day to set up the next lesson like nothing happened also raises questions in my mind - what perp would do that?  Also, the poster later says the suspect "turned himself in" w/o elaboration ..  It could be the case that he voluntarily went and gave a statement to the police as to his side of what happened, hoping they would go ahead and drop the charges before it goes further ..  (although we never advise a client do that, as the police can always find some way to twist those statements against you!)   Sorry to be a bit cynical, but when you've read and seen these things happen it can make one that way ..

If you would look at the post I made right after that , I apologised for my typo.   In my anger over your post , I typed to fast. You are such a jerk. Do you even realize that 99% of the people here on OH can't stand you? This is not the first time something cruel and uncalled for has come out of your mouth What is wrong with you?  Fellow Oh'ers I am so sorry about this but this guy really upsets me.....I usually try to ignore most of the stupid things he says , but I guess he pushed me over the edge. On the bright side, I have been force out of lurkdom.

Ok this is my opinion and after reading your response I need to reply......Kitty did not ask for your opinion nor did she need to explain to anyone what exactly happened to her daughter. There was no need to question whether this happened or not. Your reply (as a mother myself) just has me shocked.  This kind of response sides with the male in question and what girl would put herself through this?  Mind you some men think they have the right to get a hard on and react but then it must be the girls fault right? NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TOUCH SOMEONE WITH OUT PERMISSION EVEN IF IT IS JUST A SWATT ON  THE BUTT. My husband read your response and was just as shocked by it. Do you feel men have the right to touch others? Not every kid will lie nor does every parent want to extort money from others....
