Congratulations Sonja, Pinalope, Gwen & Theresa!
Thanks again DX. I wi**** had been me but alas it wasn't I do appreciate you sending people to my profile. VBG isn't a common surgery and often is said to be the surgery that always fails. I tried to be proof that it could and would work and hope I have lived up to that expectation. It hasn't been an easy road and there were days where I did feel like a complete failure but I continued on my path. Today I am happy, healthier but still have to remember that I can outeat my pouch. I have to remind myself daily that this is a never ending journey. I will continue to watch what I eat every day for the rest of my life or risk going back to that sad and fearful life I had 7 years ago.
I truly hope to meet one day as you are an inspiration to so many.

Hi Jackie,
It's so nice to hear from you. :) Yes - there absolutely will be mention and photos. Look for them on page 58 and following. It was wonderful to meet you and so many other DC-area folks at that event and I hope you enjoy seeing a few pictures from our time there. Thanks for asking, and feel free to spread the word.
Best,
Nikki
