LOL....it did hurt.  But I was so worried about my watermelon, I didn't realize I couldn't move my arm.  And that I was bleeding all over the place.   Once I realized what hurt....I was afraid that I broke something.  I guess the UpCalD is working....hehe. Yep...I got Doug's hat back....then he left it at DJs night before last....and nearly had a stroke.  So I went and got it for him.  It's a nice white cap with a nice embroidered B on the front in red.  It's his most favorite.....I need to get a picture of him in it.... No laughing matter...you really should wear a helmet... You never know when a car will hit you...or when you'll hit a pothole, etc.

I know that you are right.  I never ride in the road...always on the sidewalk.  Too many old farts here to ride on the road...though a lot do.  I also ride on the beach.....and I do have a helmet.  I will start wearing it. Thanks Charlie

Now I don't feel so bad about my spill.  I was walking home from a friend's house last night, and first I trip on a raised sidewalk.  Caught myself before falling.  I continued on my way only to slip on an acorn and did a header. Splat, on the ground on one knee and elbow.  Everything went flying. I managed to pick myself up, scraped body and ego, and finally made in home, still in one piece.
