Recovery, rest, relaxation and celebrate your post-op life. Check with your PCP or surgeon for extra advice specific for you. Here you can get all kinds of advice. Only advice I care to give is ... like your self and be happy for you! You have come a long way. Here's a hug too!
"Warm Fuzzies for all." I have been filling up on warm fuzziness and I lost weight!
Good advice, thanks! People keep saying that my calories are too low (under 600), but that is what my nut says to be at, so I don't really know what to do. I'm supposed to stay at 400-600 for another 7 months. It does seem low, but i assume they know what they are doing. I appreciate the story of you excercizing and dieting and still not losing because you are right, it did teach me stalls will happen no matter what!
I also agree that I'm being too hard on myself. I just feel like a failure and I'm not sure why. I think it's hormones. I put the scale up and wont take it down until Sunday at the earliest. If I crack and take it down early, I'm going to have my hubby hide it from me (sad...).
Don't let those hormones or the scale get you down. Hey....you are a lot lighter than when you started right? 52 pounds is awesome! You've been through a lot....surgery, re-adjusting your food intake, moving....I think your body is still adjusting to everything. Keep doing what you are doing. Make sure you are getting your fluids in too. The poinds are going to keep coming off....maybe not at the rate we want at the time we want...but it's gonna keep coming off. Maybe change your diet up a bit....I know we get comfortable with the foods that go down easy and that we can tolerate. Maybe introduce some foods that are a little varied. I know you will continue to succeed. You are doing all the right things. You Rock and you are 52 pounds lighter....Yea YOU!
We're all in this together. I'm definately not the expert...but let me know if I can help.
