Watcha Eating Today Early Outs?

Hi Friends, I am admiting to yet another lazy day however, I did do 4 loads of laundry.  I have big news, my dr. called today and wants me to go OFF my blood pressure meds.  I go to see her next Thursday to see if there should be a small adjustment on but she said stop taking them.  YAHOO! B: 1/2 slice low cal bread with 1 Tbsp. peanut butter L: WW cheese broccoli and potato's a few small bites D: I am going to a nutritional meeting at 6 pm so I will eat when I get home.  Probably some soup and cheese?   S: sf popsicles a couple of bites of cottage cheese. I have no appitite today at all.  I will force down more protein later. I will check back tonight when I get home.  A few surgery girls from here are going to go so I am really looking forward to the meeting.  Better run.  Oh, I LOVE MY RNY!  TTYL.  Gina  : )

 Hello Ladies, Well I did it, I went to the pool and did laps today. The hardest part was walking out of the locker room. I did 18 laps ( there and back being one lap). Not the best day eating. We went to a friends house for dinner and I thought that I was making a good choice until I went in the kitchen afer dinner and read the nut info on the meatballs and almost passed out. I was good until then but the 2 meatballs were more cals than I had eatin all day. It was 375 cals for 2 meatballs. I guess that I will have to do a lot more swimming to work them off.  B: 2oz Dannon low carb yogurt      1/2 pack south beach nuts S: Protein bullet L:  1oz cabbage      1 piece cheese melted on 1/4 pita      3 sprays salad dressing S: 1/2 cheese stick      1oz cherries D: 2 meatballs - VERY BAD choice I hope everyone is having a good day.

I think there has to be a mistake how big were these meatballs?  I buy the Samsclub ones and five meatballs has 220 cals. 1 g. sugar and 14 g. protein and 5 g. of carbs.  A couple of meatballs never made anyone fat anyway so just be happy you enjoyed your din din.  Great job on the workout.  That sounds great.  Gina  : )

Hello!! I had a wierd day.  First month post-op appointment today.  It went well.  I ahve lost 21lbs since surgery which is exactly where my surgeon wants me to be.

B- 1/2 banana w/ 1tsp PB

L- ham with some cheese

D- little Tuna Salad kit S- handful of pretzels (not the best choice....)

Most of the same for me.  I have to say, I am lovin not being hungry!!! b. 4oz Dannon Light & Fit Peach s. 1 Light mozz cheese stick l. Zone Perfect chocolate mint (to yummy to be good for you, anyone know if it's a no-no) GYM d. 2 oz london broil 1 teaspoon peas 32 oz water I am starting to think I am not eating enough, but I am usually Full, and don't really have much of an appetite.  I hope everyone has a FABULOUS evening!

I think the trick with any protein bar and or shake is to make sure it is high in protein and low in sugar and not so high in carbs but that is hard on bars especially.  2 oz of london broil is great, did you use A-1 sauce or any sauce to help it slide down?  I love steak but it has to be wet.  Gina  :  )

Was a bad day today for me.  I came down with a bad cold the end of last week and haven't felt like eating much of anything, let alone exercising.  Then yesterday I started with a bit of the stomach flu.  I know it is going around because my son has it and so does my daughter-in-law.  She's been sick as a dog for the last 48 hours or more.  I just drank lots of water and nibbled on pretzels the first part of today and the husband talked me into eating 3" of a Club from Subway.  But I have gotten all 64 ounces of water in for the day.  Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.    Oh I did get up and walk 2 miles this morning, in spite of feeling bad.  I hate it when I can't get out and walk or go to Curves.

Hi Gina!  Good for you another lazy day!  Enjoy each and every one you have!  It will be August before you know it and you will be back at school.  Congrats on going off your bp meds!  That is awesome!!  I can't wait to be taken off my anti-depressants!  Those are the only RXs I take.  But my doctor doesn't want to take me off of them until at least 6 months out f/surgery.  Too many hormonal fluctuations going on and if I were to go off of them I could take a major dip downward.  I have lowered the dosage on one of them.  Which is a start.  Maybe at the first of next year we will taper down a bit more.  I am not worried about it.  But I can no longer take the extended release capsule and the new pill I take tastes awful!!  No matter how I take it I can always taste it!!  Things like that really affect me now.  Even my spray vitamins are gross so i don't take them as often as I should.  It takes me a good 30-45 minutes for the taste to go away and to make sure I am not going to be sick!  I am so sensitive!! Anywhoooo....I went to the day spa today!!  LOOOOOOOOOOVVVED it!  Had a microdermabrasion facial, pedicure and a 1 1/2 hour massage!!  They bring you lunch in between and wine or juice or whatever you want.  You walk around in these white robes...it is all so luxurious.  I fit into a large robe!!  I am sure it was more like xl but it said large.  I had to make sure the bottom didn't open up when I walked though but the top part of me fit pretty well...41 pounds ago there is no way I would have fit.  breakfast - skinny cow ice cream sandwich lunch - 2 bites bread w/butter, 2 bites grilled chicken w/dressing, 2 bites lettuce, 1 spanish olive snack - nuts dinner - 1 calamari, 2 pieces asparagus I used to love calamari and tonight it just had a different taste that I didn't care for.  Bummer!!!  I had a day of dissapointments in eating food.  But I signed up for this.  I drank lots of water all day!  Yeah me!!
