Anyone 5'2 and around 240lbs? What size do you wear?

Hi all - I am going on vacation in a few months, and I'm looking to start buying clothes for it. I should weigh around 240lbs (give or take some, based on what I've heard from other folks) and I'm 5'2" (I say 5'3" but the doc's office disagrees). Anyone out there around that? What size do you wear? Or if you've passed that landmark (congratulations!), do you remember what size you wore? I'm a clearance rack shopper and need to get busy if I'm going to have anything to wear! HELP!

Hello and congrats!!! I am 5'2 and just hit 226...I am down to an 18/20 pant and 14/16 tops. So I would recommend around a 20??? Hope that helps and good luck

At that time i was in a 22. But it depends on how you carry your weight. But that is what i wore.....a 2X shirt also.

Yep, am busty (which is so far not going down, like in previous weight loss attempts!), and more around the middle. Hmmm, may buy a little ahead and then go crazy shopping the day before! I think a vacation and a bunch of weight lost is a good reason for a little shopping spree, you think?!?! Thanks so much for the info!

I'm 5'2" actually and I just hit 231. I'm wearing an xl or 14/16 top, and bottoms are 18/20.. I did buy and have work a few xl dresses and a 14/16. It really depends on how its made. But I know some people that are same weight and weight and wearing 22/24, I think you are just going to have to spend some time in the dressing room sorry

I agree that it depends on how you carry your weight. I was 5'1.5" and 237 pounds the morning of my surgery. I was in a 2x/3x shirt and 22/24 pants. Good luck. Great that you are planning and have so much to look forward to! Kelly
