Ok, so here is my dilemma.  Im fat.  If I wasnt, then why would I be on this website?? Anyhow, I get these REALLY painful "blisters" or something underneath my fat roll of my stomach.  Alot of the time there is puss and/or blood that sort of oozes out when I squeeze on them.  I get them probably once a month but the other day one just sort of appeared and no matter how much squeezing or poking I do, this thing just won't go down!  It is becoming really painful and I don't want to go to the doctor over this thing.   Can anyone out there give me advice as to what the hell these things are?? Gross....but true.

Puss is a sign of infection which could mean more than just something on the surface.  I would go to the doctor for documentation it could help in your qwest for plastics if you ever go that route. Have you had surgery, contemplating it, or in the process? I would have to urge you to get it looked at especially if it is recurring. :o) Katy

I wish that I could say I have had surgery and that I am in the process BUT I am unable to have WLS.  I have a lot of issues on the inside such as fatty liver, NASH, portal hypertension and the list goes on and on.  So here I am, 500 lbs and there is nothing I can do to help myself.   I need to lose weight, but everything I have tried has failed.

Go to the Doctor.  I've had yeast infections under the fat rolls, and I've developed cysts.  I have had to have a Dr. drain one of the cysts because it got so painful and would not drain on its own.  I had to use a cream on the yeast infection, and take antibiotics for the cyst cause it was showing signs of infection.  The reasoning behind the cysts was, "some people are just prone to them."

Yep. My husband used to get them.  They're super fun.  It's a type of infection.  Do. not. play. with. your. blisters. dude.  They spread sometimes.  They hurt.  They're very common on the inner thighs. Now, if I could only remember what it's called.

are you diabetic also? when my diabetes was starting to show up actually before I really knew I had it I was getting yeast infections under my breast and under a fat roll too but now since WLS  and especially since I knew and doctored for the diabetes  I dont have any of those problems. But you have to remember also they tell us never to squeeze a pimple or something of the sort because it only causes more problems like making it spread and also infection. Needless to say something is wrong either with your blood or you may be having a reaction maybe from diabetes and thes things could also be boils.

I have had occasional "boils" in the same place, and under my arm. I finally went to the doctor about it and was told that it was a form of strep infection. Once I took a dose of antibiotics (can't remember which one), it cleared up. Definitely call your doctor.

Sounds like a boil to me. Just wash them well daily, and put a hot compress on it if you can. They'll go away on thier own doing this. If they don't go away, I'd go to the doctor.  I've had them too.
