I wouldn't recommend you just off and cancel.  Call your Dr., talk to him, ask him what the reason for the dealy/cancellations are.  He may not even be aware of what's going on.  It's not all that uncommon for a Surgeon not to know what's going on with the scheduling of his patients.... before you decide to make a change, give him a chance to at least become aware of your frustrations... If he doesn't come up with "suggested solutions" that are satisfactory to you... then you might want to consider another surgeon.  But at least have an educated conversation with him and let him know that you are contemplating looking for another surgeon.  If Alex Argotte is "over extended" he may even give you a referral elsewhere???  Just a suggestion.  Good Luck.
