I was able to go to the gym early and then walked with Rocky, but then later in the day it was like a sci fi movie!!! It rained, sleeted, hailed, snowed the biggest flakes I have ever seen.  But.....while it was snowing it was thundering and lightning...ok.  I hear twilight zone music

I am taking the day off

Let's do some exercises on the one part of our body we love to hate....our butt!  Baby got back!!!

Glutes

Squats

please note, if you are starting out, do this without weights....then free weights and then barbell

Lunges

same as above, no weights, free weights and then barbell

Take an exercise band and tie it and place it around your ankles..do side steps

I moved it and according to the scales this morning I losed it too.... at least 4 lbs of it LOL I did 45 mins on the Dreadmill again....  once that gets too easy I'm going to need to find more time.... There's a big park near my new place, with lots of walking trails, but it's always packed during the afternoons/evenings and I'm afraid to try it at 3 in the morning....  I'm just going to have to get over my self-consciousness and go do it.....

Hi Karen, Are you saying you are thinking of walking that trail at 3:00AM in the morning?  I would fear for your safety girl  Go when there are a lot of people.  Put your ipod tunes on, put that head in the wind and go for it....  You will be surprised..  people may be looking but they will be thinking YOU GO GIRL Take care, Kathy

no no no, not even I am brave enough to try it at 3 in the morning.... I was talking about braving the people everywhere..... LOL   I do the Dreadmill or elliptical in the gym at my office at 3:00 in the morning.... I know I'm crazy, or at least everyone else thinks I am......

Yes - aI went to the gym and spent 30 on treadmill runing 6 min s now. I am so proud of the running- didn't think I could ever run but i will keep building on the running. spent 15 min on epcipal how ever you spell it-that is a leg burner! Did some sit ups and 20 or so on the bike.  I am kicking up my excerise program. Going in the morning for a personal training session hope that really kicks me in the butt!!!!!

That is the way to do it...work up to it mins by mins.  Did you know they say when you can run 30 mins on a treadmill you are ready to train for a marathon and or tri?  Imagine that Take care, Kathy

Hi Kathy well i have a question for you. I have a bad knee and squats and/or lunges are a NO GO!! So what else can I do for my butt?? Thanks
