Hi Marsha, Yea you dont think of the Florida beaches as someplace you always wear hoodies. I have been in LV since 1990 but origanilly came from Alaska and I've ALWAYS been hot. Well, not anymore. Sandy

I came across this thread and wondered how you guys were all doing.  I am two years out and still very cold all the time. It's actualy pretty miserable.  I cannot get a medical answer.  It seems to drive my husband crazy with the way the heat is always turned up.

I keep hearing this and I am actually kinda worried about it.  I am still pre op ****il March24th) and I am always freezing!!!!  Everyone always laughs at me because others will be in short sleeves or shorts and I have on long pants and a sweatshirt...and still be cold.  I don't know what I am going to do when I have surgery!  lol

Invest in thicker sweats  I'd rather be skinny and cold then fat and hot. Sandy

I'm 13 mos. out, and I'm still waiting for it to pass. Everyone I know is SO tired of hearing me say how cold I am all the time. If I lived up north I'd die! My theory on it is this (I have NO idea if there's any scientific fact involved):  as large people we develop extra blood vessels for circulation and temperature control. After we lose weight we still have the extra blood vessels and they're still working to cool us down whether we need it or not. I'm hoping that eventually the extra blood vessels will re-absorb and my thermostat will settle near normal (whatever that is). Man, I'm cold! Jen

Good theory Jennifer. It's funny because I don't just FEEL cold, I AM cold. If I touch someone hands or face they say "WOW your cold" followed by a "get away from me" Sandy
