The worst part about PS....

DON'T Scratch!!  Other than that... I feel for you, and I know the itching is maddening.  Hang in there! 

But you WOULD give the mallrats something to snicker about as they stood there behind there latte's and smoothies.  Sick lil basteeds!!

Yes Ma'am! LOL. I'm working hard not to scratch. I tend to rub, beside where the itch is ....ugh. I just took an antihisthamine, hoping it'll help some. The hives look nasty LOL...sheesh.

LOL we have it even worse here...we have french mallrats! AAAHHHHH! LOL.

I also had a terrible allergy to the tape used after my PS....left me with blistered skin.  I switched to a paper-type tape purchase at the drugstore.  It's not as sticky as the surgical tape, but no reaction.   Hope you get comfy soon...maybe some benedryl would help?

Thanks, I just broke down and took an antihisthamine. Hope it helps some. I'm going to try some Benedryl ointment too, (I've already tried 3 other kinds LOL) There's no tape left on my arms, yet the rash, hives and itch are horrible. The tapes on the breasts can't be removed until this Friday :-( They're itchy, but so far they haven't caused my skin to break out....yet! I'm putting vitamin E oil around the edges of the tape, in hopes that it will help prevent a problem there.

Same here - when I had my open lung biopsy the allergic reaction to the tapes were the tubes were inserted left horrible marks on my skin same happened after my surgery - angry itchy blisters and my skin practically came off with the tapes - I can relate!!!

Hey Gorgeous! Yup, that's how bad it gets. For my Belt lipectomy, I had 1 blood blister that was SO big, OMG it looked like I had necrosis of the tissue, it has left a scar. I have 3 little ones on my arms this time, but only maybe about 1/2 CM in diameter. I'm hoping not to get any on the boobies! So far the skin is doing alright there, a little rough around the edges is all. They need to find a better way to hold us all together I think LOL.
