The worst part about PS....

If i scratch mine i have to bend over cuz they are long enough to tuck in my socks I am allergic to silk tape and both RNY's i had they used silk tape...Dumb asses..lol. I had a red allergy band on and they still used it..go figger...Love ya most..Mamacat

Hey MamaCat! It's a miracle, I actually have boobies now LOL Oh I think that half the people ignore those allergy bands. I've heard some real scary stories! This allergy seems to be getting worse as I get older too. I think by the time I have any other form of surgery, I'll have to tell them I'm allergic to everything! Love you muchly!

LOL naw, if I was going to brag, I'd post pictures of them LOL Oh wait, there's still time! At least if they're in your socks, they're warm LOL....have to look at things positively, come on, you don't want to be like...... Oh man, I wish you had been drunk, I'd have love to have seen that one LOL. We are going to have to figure out a time when we can all get together. Maybe if we're lucky, we can arrange something for this summer. I know W has some secret plans for me (hmmm he keeps hinting at having something planned, that he says he'll announce at my b-day. I know he has told Bill all about it too...grrrr). Maybe later in the Spring (if Spring ever gets here) we can discuss plans and see what we can get going....maybe we can all head out to see you! Who knows! If we do, I'll bring you some booze LOL

The 3M brown surgical tape is the only one I don't break out from. I'm an itcher too!

I wonder what it is in this tape that causes this. It seems everyone out there has some form of reaction to it. Years ago, I had no problems with it at all, but as I get older, or is it more surgeries I go through? It is worse each time! I'll be mentioning that to my doctors if I end up in any kind of surgery again (as long as I'm able to let them know) Thanks!

Ok is anyone NOT allergic to surgical tape??? Oh and if you think the itching is bad...go read my post about dissolveable stitches.... Pop some benedryl...and we'll see ya on Wednesday.

Oh girl....this is so gross. When I took off the tapes the other day, I had 2 stitches in my right arm that were sticking out, one at each end of the incision...well, they were all soft and icky, and not tied so I *pulled them out!* ick ick ick! I have a solidly tied, clear one at the elbow end of the left arm, it's not going anywhere LOL but it sticks out and catches on things...ugh. (he had to bunch up some skin on the ends to close, my skin ended up being way too thin.) I'm tempted to take some Benadryl....or ChlorTripolon weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee LOL
