Hey Mia! Nope, you're sure not alone. The itch bothers me more than any other part of surgery. Drives me nuts! LOL. As for showing off the girls, I don't know hahaha. Already had one of the DH's friends pop by and he started to talk about the wife in *Summer Rental*...LOL ummm nope, I'm not offering them up for inspection hahaha Thanks! We need to find a better way of taping things up! Hugsssss

When I had mine I too had a reaction to the steristrips and the tape. For the iich try the  Gold Bond lotion with Shea Butter.  I used that and it really helped with that itch. Hang in there and I hope this helps

I'm willing to try anything. I have been using different anti-itch creams and lotions, but they don't work long. Basically, as soon as they dry, I'm itchy again LOL. Thanks for the suggestions!

If you're not allergic to lidocaine I discovered this week that its GREAT for itchies. I had a nasty allergic reaction to something and its the only thing that helped me. It's in a bunch of different OTC creams (usually for burns). Prolly won't want it ON your incisions but on the tape spots and outside areas I'm sure it would help.

Ooh I think I may have a tube of that too. I'll give it a whirl. Nope, nothing on the incisions themselves, just on the rash and hives around them. It feels like little buggies crawling all over me LOL...ugh! Thanks for the suggestion. I bet by the end of the week, I've had all kinds of ointments and creams and lotions on me to try!

I know how ya feel, the cortisone and other 'anti itch' creams did nothin for me but the cheapo free "burn jel" (With lidocaine) from my office medicine cabinet worked like a charm.

LOL funny, it usually is the cheapo stuff that's best. If it weren't for this being due to surgery, I'd soak in a tub with baking soda....but can't do that yet!
