the dreaded loose skin

Yes, and plastic surgery does wonders....  :-) Actually they say it mostly has to do with how much you lost and how long you were heavy.  If you lost around 100 pounds you won't need plastics as bad, but if it's 150 or 200 pounds...yeah it's pretty bad.   I was heavy since I was 5 years old and I lost 200 pounds...needed to have the rest chopped off. yes the skin thing is BAD. I am about to embark on round 4 of plastic surgery and the more I have, the more I feel I need. I've lost more than the average WLS patient though so take what I say with a grain of salt. After loosing 285 pounds you can imagine my skin is horrific...but....my plastic surgeon is a genious.  He has done miracles with me. Yes I traded the skin for scars but I look so much better. It was no contest for me..weighing 425 and dying or having WLS and living. I chose to live.

I have it -- not too bad.  The best way I can describe it is that my body looks 10 years older than it is, but clothes create a great illusion. As to whether you'll experience it or not, I can't add anything else to what these other wise posters stated already.
