Go over to YouTube and put in "Britain's Got Talent." It's based on a somewhat similar concept to "American Idol," but the results are TOTALLY different. It ran as a miniseries, each evening for a week or whatever, so the format was different, AND the talent featured was very different from the American Idol stuff. In particular, I recommend following Paul's story, who won this past season. It's really, really cool.
I'm sure its good...but not my cuppa tea. I just could not get into it. And for some reason, I can'****ch Big Medicine either. I don't know what it is, but its almost like it scares me. Crazy stuff. I'll go watch the utube thing though to get an idea.
I watch Discovery channel, history channel and anything biography. I'm a history junkie.....and a dinosaur junkie......and a pre-historic man junkie.....and a totol biography junkie.
You don't know how thrilled I was recently to visit Dealy Plaza in Dallas and stand in the book depository where Kennedy's killer stood.....it was almost like a religious experience for me.
I know I know.....I'm a werido. But a lovable weirdo........LOL.
Thanks for the info.
Hugs
Charlie
I watched Big Medicine, too. But it occured to me immediately that they're going to do three things for each program:
1) The Supremely obese guy and his ongoing problems
2) A regular morbidly obese person's WLS
3) a reconstructive surgery on a former WLS patient
I was very disappointed that they are not following through on any of the issues related to the WLS itself ... or the fact that it's a "tool" used in-progress ... so I don't know if I'll watch again. Though I'm interested in the extremely obese fellow who is having a double mastectomy next week.
i love history too the history channel is my favorite not too big on reality shows but, i did love "Hell's Kitchen" and i love the audition shows for american idol i laughed what i had left of my butt off! hehehehe some of those people crack me up if you love history do you love going to museums?
