Ringing in the new year alone....

is anyone else young, alone and partyless on new years eve or just  me. you would think at 18 i would have somewhere to go but noooo. i don't have anywhere to go. uhhh i hate my life i wish i wasn't alive.

You won't be alone if you are up at midnight!!  I will be here!!  I am hanging out at home with my hubby and son.. you are more than welcome to "join" me in some girl company!!  You have yahoo?  if you do...add me and we will ring it in together!!! 

You're mighty young to be wishing you weren't alive, hon. You know, the party life isn't all it's cracked up to be. And tonight of all nights is a good one to be safe at home.  Not to sound like I'm preaching to you, because that's not my intent. Look at your own signature, the quote about dreams. As cliche as it sounds, you do have your entire life ahead of you. What do you want to do with it? How can you make a difference in the world? Even if it's your own world, not the entire universe. What can you do to leave your mark?  Hope things look up for you in 2008.

Oh no...hey, had many years of that.  I always opted to stay in as it was dangerous to be out on New Years.  This year will be better, and holds so many possibilities!   We never know what blessings are in store for us, but I know that you will never be given more than you can handle.  Remember that OK?   Today is just another day.....a gateway to a better tomorrow!  Hang in there....put on a good movie, and enjoy the best company around....YOURSELF!  All my best to you.

i can't help but feel this way. my dad is always on me about how i need to make more friends or how i am the only 18 year old he knows who isn't out partying with friends. i just hate my life. nothing has gone right for me since i had my surgery. sometimes i regret having it done at all. i can't  put anything into my mouth with out somebody making  a comment in fact the only thing i have eaten today was one slice of pizza a few minutes ago. i don't know what to do.

When someone starts nit picking at the way  you now eat, and you know that you are following the rules your surgeon and nut have set down for you ,  just look at them and smile, and say  " I am following the guidelines that my Doctors have set for me - and it seems to be working just fine.  Thank you for your concern and I am glad that you care enough to notice that its different for me now.  "     I am lucky that only one person has ever said anything about how I eat... and that was just to comment on how small I was cutting everything up to eat!   Hang in there sweetie - life will get better for you I promise!! You are so young yet and have the entire world just waiting for you to get out there and rope it in.  I am guessing you are still in high school?  I  had this same conversation with my son when he was your age.  And at 21 guess where he is???  Right here beside me sitting on the couch LOL.  We just moved to Florida this year and none of us know anyone here!  So he is stuck here with his mom!  If you want, just PM me your phone number and I will give you a call... we can chat a while.   Big hugs, Kim

 Here I am again!....... Your dad really should be proud to KNOW where his 18 year old is.  As for what you are eating....... Girl.....You studied all about your Lap Band...... You KNOW how to use your tool.DON'T LET anybody....even your dad rain on your parade!........ Some people are just negative 24/7..... You have a beautiful smile.... You WILL not always be alone....  Just hang around... This party is just getting started!!!!

Hi, I don't have any particular plans tonight but tonight is one night out of my life. I may not have plans, but I have a family that loves me and I have given myself the best gift ever this year. While everyone else is drinking champagne, I will be drinking water and smiling knowing that I don't have to make any new years resolutions because I finally did something that I am confident will work. :)  I am finally gonna do it and it feels good.  Chin up, big or small we should always be happy to be alive. You are a beautiful person and one night doesn't define your entire life. :)
