Need Advice

Was wondering if anyone out there has had my kind of experience.  I had vomiting of some blood from my stomach and could not keep anything at all down, not even water.  I went to my doctor, and he immediately took ALL the fluid out of my lapband.  I had IMMEDIATE relief, and no problem eating or drinking from that point, and that was on Thursaday.  I think I had a blockage in my band and taking the fluid out relieved the problem completely.  However, he wanted to put me in the hospital right then and run test, but I refused.  I honestly don't think I have any other problem with my stomach.  If this proves to be the case, does anyone know how long I will have to wait to have any fluid put back in my band, and how much at one time?  I had 6cc when this happened.   I can already tell a BIG difference with no fluid

Bonnie, Just to err on the side of safety, if it were me and my doctor told me that he wanted me in the hospital...I'd go.   Why are you refusing to go?  I know that hospitals suck but vomiting blood is NOT NORMAL....please reconsider and then let us know how you are doing. Susan

Well, if you'd asked a little earlier, I'd give the advice to follow your doctor's orders. As for now, you're probably on your own.  Good luck.

Have you found another physician? Will your original Dr treat you know that you refuse medical advice?
