Libido?? skinny vs fat sex! :)

Oh man. I almost got myself in trouble with that one.  Not being used to it,  i got a little too close to doing something stupid.  I have to watch out now.  It might be an addiction transfer. the sh*t never ends, does it?????

HI Belinda. :) I've never met Dr. Schram....I was transferred over to him when Dr. Kam left Barix.  I don't get to meet him until surgery day. :(  EEEEK.  I'm totally nervous about that. Is he a good guy?

I absolutely have never been a girl who has been frequently hit on.  I know I'm pretty now, but when I lose weight, I'm sure I'l lbe a knock out!  (trying to build up my self esteem, I'm really not that self assured! ;)  ) I'm just not sure what I'll do when i get attention!!!

Oh my yes. At 330 lbs I hated myself and my body. My husband always loved me and made me feel cherished. Now 180 lbs less and age 60, I feel like a randy teenager. Our intimacy is incredible and we engage in love making daily. I feel sexy, indeed. He makes me feel incredibly sexy. He loves to buy me sexy underwear and nighties. We have been together since high school and our sex life is better now than before. This is one of the most thankful things about WLS. I have many new life changes and love my new body and life.

Monica!  This post made me SO happy! Sometimes I think this is as good as it's gonna get, but I have a lot to learn don't I?  At 60, you are DEFINING what sexy means...Heck, somebody better tell Justin that YOU just might be the one bringing sexy back. You better watch out, cause when I hit my goal weight, I told hubs that I'm splurging and spending 200 smackers at Victoria's secret, or even get a little kinky at fredericks.   I HATE these fat rolls that make me feel so unfeminine and unsexy.  I want to feel like a desireable woman again....

I am now lost in the memories of "skinny sex".  Istill have a high sex drive, but can't do some of the positions that I like, and my hubby likes.  Sex was waaaaay better before I gained all this weight.  I can't wait to lose it and pick up where I left off.  My husband is 6' and 190, so he is a ideal weight.  We don't have any physical problems having sex, just I want to feel sexy again, and have the lights on, or the blankets off....too insecure now!!  It will be nice to allow my hubby to look and feel my body again!!!

I have to agree the sex drive is higher. But this one bites as far as the sex goes. My DH had prostrate cancer 2 months after I had WLS. So he had to have the prostrate removed. YA NO MORE SEX FOR ME.  but we're dealing w/ it. I agree with a preveous post. Be caful. I also almost got into a fix when someone was flirting with me. And knowing DH couldn't do it.  yes I know there are other ways. But until it happens to you!!! It's different & ( it's cold & purple) Kinda a turn off. Yes I know turn off the lights. Maybe put a warmer on it .lol.

Thank you all for being so honest. I'm still waiting for the sex drive. After years of feeling so damm unattractive, that died somewhere. Honestly, I have NO sex drive and I'm hoping it comes back. I am also going to talk to my other doctors about this. I thought it was my meds and now that I'm off of almost all of them, I'm still wondering where the sex drive is. I had a really healthy one back in the day.
