Greetings All, I have just joined the site and I am post op at 311 from 538 and all seems to be going well. However I have noticed lately that my stomach audibly gurgles. And was wondering what this indicates, it has only just started doing this recently. Also I know I am not ready for a skin reduction but I heard something about a shot that can reduce your skin. I was wondering where I can find information on this. Apparently a guy my mom works with lost over 280lbs but never had the plastic surgery, he did however get some sort of shots that took most the sag out of his arms and chest. Anyone have any idea what this is called? Thanks for help, Steve

Hey Steve, Congratulations on your loss so far! Keep it up. The gurgling stomach? Do you notice it more with some foods rather than others? For me it happens with lower density, wetter foods Or if I drink liquid along with meal. Back in my first 6 months or so post-op It could make enough noise To cause the dog to bark in the other room! The shots to improve skin elasticity? No info there. However, I lost from 385 to 179 in just over a year And my chest, arms, etc...(all but a touch at my waist, Drew up just fine. Some info specifically for the Guys--- PlasticSurgery-LooseSkin-For-Men And an invitation...

Thanks for the welcome guys. Also I have another question, did anyone notice thinning hair after their surgery? It may be unrelated but I know that your hormones and what not can get unbalanced with massive loss.
