I'm 5'4" I weigh 120 pounds now(180 lb weight loss) I wear a 4 misses or 5 junior in pants,or a small/extra small if they are elastic waist. I wear a small/extra small shirt and a 32 c/d bra(whatever I can find, need a girls training bra, but don't have that size anywhere. I need a size 30, 32's are big.
I WAS a size 28 pant and a 4X shirt. It's weird now....
I have to try everything on now, I used to look at it and say, yea, it will fit. I can't tell by looking anymore... My self image is no accurate at times...
I'm 5'5" and 126 pounds. I wear a size 4 in most stores. I have a couple of size 2's (Old Navy vanity jeans) but I call myself a size 4. But everyone is different, depending on shape. I have no butt but I still have big legs. I could probably wear a junior 1 or 3 if it weren't for my big calves!! I tend to not go into juniors clothes, because the legs are always cut smaller and the waistband sits almost below my hipbones.

I am 5'5.5" and 124 lbs. I wear mostly size 6 but have some 4 skirts as well. I wear smal and medium tops. It really depends on where you shop. I remember shopping at a store called Papaya about a week ago and the larges were too tight grrr.
Ahhh, vanity sizes....don't ya just love 'em???
I'm 5'5" and weigh 138. I wear any size 4, some 2's. BUT.
My mom just gave me some of her old skirts, classics that never go out of style. I'm guessing they are at least 20 years old, designer, expensive and they are size 8 and fit perfectly.
Enough said? Not quite. It all depends on your frame, for example, my body isn't letting go of the last 10 pounds, of course I'm big-boned, think Linda Evans of Dallas fame. Can you say "Broad shoulders?"
I just love your quote "So, with the new and improved sizing method where fat girls think they aren't,"

My mom and sister and I were just talking about this last weekend. My mom's wedding dress is labled a size 14, but if you hold it up to something from today's sizes it would be about an 8. Why do they do that? I remember when I was 10 years old, I was 5'7" weighed 205 and wore size 18 pants. I am now 5'10" 259 pounds and I wear Old Navy size 20 or Levi's size 22. I never understood why women's pant sizes weren't standard like men's.
