What size is 125 pounds???

I remember when I graduated high school I weighted about 125 and was a size 9.  Sizes have changed so much over the years.  I went to get some new jeans the other day and I was so excited over being able to wear a size 14 but I weight about 190.  And about 10 years ago I got down to about 160 and was in a size 12.  So, with the new and improved sizing method where fat girls think they aren't, what does a 125 pound average 5 foot 5 woman possibly wear?  Thanks, Sheila

 I would suggest a size 7.... or a 9. Actually with myself..I just have to go try it on or buy it take it home and try it on...if it works great...if not I take it back.

It is SO different depending on the brand and also depending on the person.  For example - I am 130 pounds at 5' 3" and I wear a size 12-14 (you said you wore the same at 190 pounds) and that is because I carry most of my weight on my bottom half.  At Maurices I wear I size 14 most of the time, at Fashion Bug it is mostly a 12, and at Old Navy sometimes it is a 16!  So different.  You'll probably just have to try things on to find out.  Good luck! 

Wow... that's SO weird.. I weigh 75 lbs more than you, and I'm also in size 14 right now...!!!!  I'm 5"8" and have lots more weight to lose, but.. just think that sizes are SO weird!!!!!!!!!!

brands are all so different. Depends on the shape of your body also. I'm 5'3 143lbs. and depending on the brand fit between 6-10s

lol at 125 lbs, my 5'10"  butt would probably be a size...very small :) Who knows though, I probably weighed that when I was like....oh 8 maybe :)

So, with the new and improved sizing method where fat girls think they aren't,  I love that line. I weigh 203 and just bought a pair of size 12 Levi's and they fit (can everybody say Spandex). So my guess would be that someone weighing 125 might wear a 0, 2 or a 4.

 

I weigh 204 and I am wearing a sz. 16.

I forgot about the different body types.  I guess that would make a big difference.  I'm an apple and as my brother used to say, "it's hard putting pants on a football."  What fits in the waste for me has a butt big enough for another person and me.  I went to Goodwill this past weekend and my eyes were smaller than my waste.  I found two pair that next month I hope to be in.  Then I went to Fashion Bug.  Everything there was stretch.  I hope never to see stretch blue jeans again!  Then for giggles and grins I found a pair of stretch JUNIOR size 15s.  I got those buggers on, zipped, button and breathed.  The zipper was about 3 inches long.  If I had bought them it would have been like wearing bikini underwear that was too small.  (Need I say more about that.  We all know what happens to underwear that's too small).  I'm just looking forward to wearing a size 9 Levi or Lee jean.  Thanks, everyone.   Sheila

well , I am 5 ft 6 in tall and weigh 136, I am wearing sizes 5, 6 and 7s in jeans and size small and mediums tops. It all depends on who makes them I guess.
