Redheads and obesity
Thanks for all your posts re: obsesity in redheads.
I first heard this on the news about 1 yrs ago. I have also heard redheads seem to get fever quicker when they are ill as well. I know we seem to burn easier due to the lack of melanin in our skin as well(poor milky white girls). Thanks goodness for makeup!!! I have always felt different than others--whether this is an idea in me or because people always point you out as different due to being a redhead...I don't know. My daughter is a redhead. She was always extremely thin until she hit about 30 and now she's having a weight problem. Of course I agree REDHEADS are awsome people. I think they are very sensitive and intuitive people. Nows here's something to think about. Usually redheads don't hang out with other redheads. Is this because they are rarer per population or they don't like each other (hah).
I now dye my hair a different shade of red, 'cause the mousy fading began with my strawberry red hair a while back. Hummmmmm, maybe the darker red dye IS making me fatter. So, then after my surgery maybe a new color is due!! We'll see. There is a website called Redheads(or some'em like that)
