Does anyone remember this little gadget that you stand on and then you start twisting like Chubby Checker. It was square and I think it was blue. Catherine

My mom had a brown square thing that you were sopposed to stand on and twist back and forth - it kind of made a sandpapery noise.  Is that what you are talking about?

My dad had one. It was blue. We thought it was pretty goofy.

Catherine, I do remember that! There was another one for use in a sitting position I think.

I dont remember the sit down one but the stand up one gave a good work out especially when the oldies were on. If you know of where I can locate one, please let me know. Thanks

I fired up Google (search: +twist +exercise) and came up with the Activa Everlast Twist Board. It's out of stock on that site, but maybe you can contact them about availability, or search for it on eBay. Happy Twisting!

My mom bought one of those when I was I think 12 or14 and I would get on there and turn the oldies-motown on and twist for hours, almost everyday. To this day I still attribute my tiny waist to that twisterasizer. Why, b/c no one in my family has a waist as tiny as mine. Thats why I have always said that dancing is the best form of exercise. Thanks
