Im about to cry.. protein shakes!!!!

I have never found a protein drink that I can tolerate.  Even Unjury, which so many people here seem to like, made me gag because of the smell alone.  So I never used them.

Are you allowed soft foods yet?  You might try refried beans or other smashed up beans.  And of course, there is always skimmed milk.  Check with the nutritionist about what you might be able to eat at this point.  Even if you aren't getting your full protein yet, you should be okay until you are able to eat solids in a few weeks. Couldn't do the shakes right after surgery either...nose too sensitive /tongue too sensitive to sweet things.  I mixed both flavored and unflavored powder (Protein Delight and Unjury) into Jello SF pudding mix and made up little cups for myself (they have these nifty little containers with lids in the baggy aisle).  Pistachio with vanilla was particularly tasty if I remember correctly.
