How do you eat Sardines?

Sorry, can't stand them!!! The smell makes me ill!!  Good Luck finding a way to eat them!! Becki

why can't you eat them on melba toast, i haven't tried them yet, but i eat chicken salad on these pretzel chips that I get from Costco, I just limit my intake on chips, also I eat light chips ex. tostados, dorritos. Like I said, I just limit my intake. Hope this helps Robin

I'm not much of a fish person at all whether its sardines, smelts, salmon or shrimp etc, and I married a Newfie so go figure cuz all they eat is seafood...lol.   BUT I figure I'm going to have to learn to like seafood more after the surgery (date is Jan 3rd).  Yesterday I tried to eat some plain flaked light tuna out of the can with nothing on it and boy oh boy was that a tough one to choke down.   I can't offer any suggestions (right now) with the sardines, but My hubby is a Chef and he LOVES sardines, so I'll ask him when he gets home and then post his suggestions for you later tonight.    Good luck!

I get them in Louisiana Hot Sauce or yellow mustard and eat them straight from the can.  I also like them on English Cucumber rounds.  yummm...

OOhhhh I LOVE these suggestions... I had no idea they came "pre-flavored"  I cant wait to try both of those! 

Tom Hanks ate them with pretzles in 'The Burbs'.  LOL!!!  I dunno.  I've never had them.  Kim D

I've never seen the Burbs... but... I know they have Soy Pretzels at Trader Joes... so I am adding THAT to my shopping list as well.. lol.
