What Insurance?

Hi All!!! Well, I was so excited because my company got insurance through Anthem, well the guy that sold us the insurance misled us and told us that it would cover my surgery. Once I got the insurance I found out that it didn't cover. So now I am back to sqaure one. I was wondering if you guys could tell me what insurance you found that would cover the surgery. My boss is working with me on this and says that if I can find a company that will approve it tht we will get that insurance. Please let me know A.S.A.P. I really appreciate it!!!!!!!

We have Aetna and they cover it.  However, it is because my husband's company bought that extra coverage.  Many Aetna policies do not cover it.

Just because they say they do not cover it, doesn't mean you can't get it covered.  Try appealing.  Although, if your boss is willing to get different insurance then I would search around and find the BEST one, LOL.  One that covers the skin surgeries afterwards.  =)

Mine is through Anthem Blue Cross and it is covering my gastric bypass at 90% and was approved in 2 days

bc/bs was great for me!   It covered me and my hubby.  Be careful though there are lots of different bc/bs.  Mine is a ppo.  good luck
