Blurred vision after surgery????

Hi, Had lap RNY on fri -I am home from the hospital but having blurred vision.  Anyone else experience this?   When did it resolve?

Sure did, my vision changed after sugery...need glasses now! Tina

You may be having some blurred vision from your pain meds. You should call your doctor's office now and discuss it with them just to be sure.

Hi I am 6  months post op and I remember that I had blurred vision for a few days after surgery maybe even a week.   It will clear up though or should.   It is probably from the Morphine pump that we were on.....I can't figure out what else that it could be because that was the only pain meds that I could take.....I was allergic to all the others.   Hope that your vision clears up soon and congradulations on your surgery and good luck as your start your WL journey.   It is so amazing that you will be so surprised of the results and how quickly that they come. Hi.   Interestingly, I had vision changes post surgery too, even after I was off the pain meds.   I couldn't see with my contacts for about 3 weeks.  Now I can see with them, but need reading glasses for fine print.  

You might need to call your surgeon and check with them, but I'm about 10 months post op and I just started having blurred/tunnel vision and it would last for about 10-15 min and right after it I would get a headache. I scheduled to get a full physical on my eyes and they were fine, I was told I had Occular (sp) Migraine. I started taking the Lutein (eye vitamin) and I haven't had any episode anymore. Hope this help
