Good Morning everyone.....been a while since I've been on but I am back....

Food for the day is....

B - Protein smoothie.
L - Turkey & pepperjack wrap.
D - Shrimp Bruschetta along with sun dried tomato & fresh basil pesto on garlic baguettes

Exercise limited to upper body for a while due to recent problems, so no walking or running.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and enjoys the cooler temps....

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I know it was soggy, but we REALLY needed the rain!! 

4 DAYS UNTIL THE WEDDING!!  I can't believe it is finally here.  We are ready!!!

Eats today:

B-Chik-fil-a chicken bagel (they gave away free breakfast today!)
L-Lean Cuisine pizza, grapes
S-chicken breast
S-Chobani yogurt
D-leftover ribs, pork chop and baked beans

Dessert-jello with pineapple

Exercise:  If the rain stops I'll run, if it is raining I'll do a cardio P90X workout in the basement.

Topic: Dr Scott Pennington, Bham
Has anyone used Dr Scott Pennington in Birmingham, al?  I am considering have wls and he was the dr I was reffered to.  I have been approved to have the GBS but I think I really want the sleeve because I don't want my intestines re-arranged.  It's a big decision and I am terrified bc I  had a horrible experience with the Lap band and it had to be removed. So now I need as much information as possible to help me make the best decision for me!!  Thanks :)

Been an extremely busy work week for me and am working through the weekend.   My weight is up 2 lb which I hope is jus****er weight!  Been walking and working out so not sure.......

Kim, you must be so excited with the wedding countdown.  I know your daughter will be beautiful!


B:  1 slice whole wheat toast, 3 slices turkey bacon, 1 slice cheese, 1 slice tomatoe
S:   coffee
L:   1 slice thin and crispy meat lovers pizza
S:  6 reduced fat pnut butter and crackers
D:  same as lunch but 2 slices!
S:   dannon lite and fit diabetic friendly yogurt

Exercise:  20 min of water aerobics, walked 2 miles.

Weigh in day!  I guess the salt on my margarita didn't help my situation....stayed the same as last week, so officially still up 4 lbs.  No biggie though.....with all the wedding stuff I haven't been able to work out as hard as I like to.....will run tomorrow and do yoga Sunday, Monday will be weight day (upper body and abs).

I've determined my metabolism is still basically "broken".  I did one of those online things where you calculate the calories needed to maintain where you are.....well, according to it, I need 2,800 calories per day............yeah, right.............I stay between 1,500 and 2,000 each day and still managed to gain 4 lbs along the way..........I'm figuring I need to stay between 1,500 and 1,800 AND keep working out 5-6 days per week to slowly go back down a few.  My clothes all fit fine, but I do feel "puffier" in the middle.....I guess pre-menopause will help contribute to that too....GETTING OLD IS THE PITS.

B-1/2 c cottage cheese with NSA peaches and 1/2 ww english muffin
S-slim jim
L-sushi
S-Chobani honey yogurt
S-fruit salad
D-grilled chicken breast and veggies

Will have a drink tonight and make DD ribbon/bow bouquet for the rehearsal next week.

No exercise-Friday is off day.

I knew we had surgery around the same time. I was 7 years August 31st! I have gained a little but still try to keep it under control. It sure does get harder every year for me. Congrats on 7 years. Take care Randall.

Is it REALLY only Thursday??!!  This week is dragging by!  I can tell I've been "lax" on my workouts...I did P90X+ upper body the other night and every upper body muscle is screaming!  Last night had a nice pleasant speed walk around 8:00 with my grandpuppy...he was confused though...he kept wanting to run and I had to keep pulling him back...he is only used to running with me!  Guess he'll get his fix Saturday morning!

We are on wedding countdown!!  10 days!!

Eats today:

B1-Jimmy Dean DLight bagel breakfast sandwich
B2-grilled chicken breast
S-banana
L-more left over homemade taco salad
S-watermelon
S-Chobani mango
D-not sure--going to Superior grill for yet another pre-wedding function!!

No exercise tonight since I'll be at Superior.

Enjoyed a wonderful 2 days off!  Have increased the walking and workouts and I feel so much more energetic! Love it!

L:  cheeseburger with extra pickles, water with lemon
S:  6 reduced fat pnut butter and crackers, skinny vanilla latte iced
D:  2 oz grilled chicken, 1/4 c. baked beans with beef, 1/2 roll
D2:  same as D1
S:  1 boiled egg, 1 c. garden salad, 2 tbsp. ham, 2 tbsp. mozzarella cheese
