Wow! It is hot!! Got back at midnight last night from VA, and it was just as hot there.
Eats today:
B1-Jimmy Dean D-light breakfast sandwich
B2-grilled chicken breast
L-Lean Cuisine, cantaloupe
S-Chobani
D-not sure yet
Exercise: I'll go down in the basement and do P90X arms and shoulders later this morning.
We are going to get my daughter's wedding dress fitted today! I can't wait to see how big it is on her!

Welcome to Huntsville! You won't find a DS doctor in north Alabama. Dr. Houston in Nashville does band to DS revisions but I'm not sure if does RNY to DS. If you go to www.dsfacts.com you can see a list of fully vetted DS doctors.

Topic: AL Revision Surgeons
Hey all, I just moved to the Huntsville area and think I'm going to have to have a revision (complications, not weight gain issues). I would like to go from RNY to DS but I'm heard not so wonderful things about a couple of the DS surgeons here in town. I saw a post from 2008 from someone on this board that said the knew someone here that had a revision to DS - any idea of which doctor they used or any doctor that does that kind of revision? All else fails - who's the best doc in AL for revisions? :-)

I am ok girl ....I read about everyday , just dont post much ...As you can see our board just about has closed up shop most of the time. Kim is faithful though and I say a big hand clap for her as I would have started lurking much like I do :)
I thought he had the surgery but didnt want to post that without being 100% so thanks , NO I KNOW :)

Don't know the other doctors, but Dr. Freeman and Time are amazing. They did mine almost 2 years ago. I've never been treated so well, including everyone in his office. I would recommend him to all of my family and friends. Good Luck! It's an amazing journey. Definitely not an easy one, but so worth it.

Hi Angi. Good to meet another Freemanette. I am right at 8 years post op and would use him again and again. In fact he has done other surgeries on my since then that was not WLS related. I trust Dr. Freeman and Tim with my life. I wish I could stay that about ever surgeon. My life is to important to me to just see any and ever one.

Well I just have to pipe in and say that I am doing just wonderful. I have been to PT and now just sitting on duff watching some TV. Bobby is with the boys at the pool. I had a small hamburger from McDonalds with less than 1 slice of the bun. I need to be out getting some of that Vit D myself as mine was way low and now taking those Vit D capsules.
As Gwen said this RNY person is doing wonderful after 8 years. You know I see so many that has put weight back on and some has gained all they ever lost. If they would just go back to the basic's and start over they can do it again. Instead of following the rules they want to blame the doctor or just moan and groan. I have even been told "I was not told this or that" . We all were told the same thing some of us just did not want to listen. These size 6 feel wonderful.

Just a note to say hello on this beautiful and sunny Tuesday. My oh my, it's a glorious day. Spending time with my awesome, handsome lil fella today. We will be spending LOTS of time together this summer. We went to the water park, got some good Vit. D sunshine and had a nice picnic lunch. We had fresh peaches, whole wheat, turkey and provolone cheese sandwiches, carrots and juice. I have to say, we really did have a great time. It's time to rest now, so I just took a moment to check in today. Hope everyone is doing well. Have a blessed day.
