I ended up walking the neighborhood with DH last night.  It was breezy and cool so it didn't even feel like exercise!  I'm waiting on DD to call so we can run this morning.

Maintenance is a bear.  Some days I am hungry all day long, and I crave the carbs.  I'm sure it has to do with that TOM, because I happen to have a nice zit under my nose today.  The hard part is remembering just because I WANT it, I can't always HAVE IT.  Yes, I can sometimes, but if I do it all the time, I'll start to regain.

Lets face it--my metabolism is still broken.  With my activity level and the amount of muscle I have, my daily use of calories to maintain should be around 2,200.  However, I am maintaining on 1,500-1,800 per day.  So that tells me that I still have a sluggish metabolism...which isn't surprising, but disappointing. 

I really feel like a spoiled child when I see the cookies, and want the cookies, but have to drink some water and walk away. 

Eats today:

B1-1/2 c cottage chs with NSA peaches and 1/2 ww english muffin
B2-chicken breast (5 oz)
L-Lean Cuisine
S-watermelon
S-Chobani
D-pork chops and veggies

Dessert-NSA ice cream bar

Back at work.  Today is my monday.  I had outpatient surgery last Friday and took a couple of days to relax and heal.

B:  2 eggs, 3 oz. ham and cheese
L:  6 crackers, 1/2 Protein Bar
S:  1/2 Protein Bar
D:  3 oz grilled turkey, and a handful of baked Tater Tots......I know they are bad but I just had to have them!
S:   Handful of Peanuts, 6 crackers


Exercise:  Didn't happen.  Too much rain!

Relatively new to AL myself.  I am in the Montgomery area and haven't yet visited Mobile or the coast but I hear they are a must.

Good news on the stall breaking!  I am amazed at all the swimming you do!  That is great exercise.  Nice to see you here, it is kind of quiet, I like getting a response!!

Oatmeal with Flax Seed, and I am already wearing my swimsuit for my daily swim!  Lost three pounds from my stall -- motivated to swim harder, today!  My snack on the way to the pool, Low Sodium V8, and a protein shake after I swim...

If  you're in the Mobile area, you won't be that far from Gulf Shores (less than an hour).  A visit to the Alabama Gulf Coast is a MUST....beautiful beaches, and great seafood.   If you do head that way, look for Lambert's Cafe in Foley - great home cooked food, and "Home of the Throwed Rolls".   Biloxi & Gulfport, MS, are just about an hour west of Mobile, and the casinos are always fun to visit.  You MUST try BBQ from the South - Dreamland - in Mobile.

Ever have one of those days where your eating plan goes out the window and you cannot get satisfied no matter how much crap you eat???  Yesterday was one of those days for me!  I got into the cookies when I got home from work and then it was downhill.....guess I'll have to workout extra hard tonight....maybe because I ran yesterday morning it made me more hungry???  I really wish I dumped....at least I'd get a "slap" when I get naughty!  Seriously though, I try to take those days in stride and just not let that kind of eating become a habit again

Eats today:

B1-Jimmy Dean D-Light breakfast sandwich
B2-grilled chicken breast (6 oz) - I nibble on this between 8 and 10
L-Sushi
S-Chobani mango yogurt
D-salmon and corn on the cob

Dessert-I really need to skip it, but if I have something it will be a NSA fudge bar (80 cals)

Exercise:  something with weights today since I'll run again tomorrow morning.

Got up this morning at 6 and got in a 2 mile run before the heat....I have to mow a friend's lawn this evening....I know it will be brutal!!

Eats today:

B1-1/2 ww english muffin with 1 hard boiled egg
B2-90% lean ground beef patty (4 oz)
L-chicken breast and brussel sprouts
S-Chobani
S-cantaloupe
D-manwich--guess I'll eat the mixture on 1/2 of a ww bun.....

Dessert-not sure--NSA ice cream bar or s/f pudding cup
