You could do several things:

1)  Make stuff ahead over the weekend.  Like grill a bunch of chicken, steak, etc and make a large salad and a large fruit salad....put in small containers and just grab and go.

2)  Make a sandwich or a wrap in the morning and have it ready to grab when you pick him up.

3)  Eat when you get home.  Several studies have been done regarding the time of day you eat....there is no hard evidence that eating after a certain time results in weight gain or diminished weight loss.  As long as you stick to a healthy eating plan, it doesn't matter what time of day you get the nutrition in.

I will be glad to :)

This weekend was fun. went to bridge street, ate at red robin. yesterday i went grocery shopping, got a new blender so this mornings protein shake was fun to make!

B-bsn vanilla, pineapple, 2 kiwi slices (they were froze to the pineapple couldnt get them off), shot of SF coconut syrup, ice, water, splash of milk
L-steak and salad
S-protein shake, bsn vanilla, pineapple, SF orange syrup, sf coconut syrup, water, splash of miil****
D-grilled chicken tenderloin or a protein shake.

I have an issue and im really having trouble with figuring out what to do.

Jayden starts football tonight. 6-8 4 days a week. I dont get off til 5 and by the time i pick him up its 5:30 so theres no time in between to eat. We wont get home til after 8 and i feel thats too late to eat. what in the world do i do for dinner???? eat before i leave work and then do a protein shake at home after football? or i dunno really. IM stumped.

He's practicing at a new place and they have a track. so i'll be walking while he practices, atleast some of it. 5 laps is 2 miles and thats my goal for the first few weeks!!!

What a busy weekend!  Got up Saturday and ran 4 miles then went home and mowed the lawn.  We had a BBQ Saturday evening since my sisters were in town.  Sunday did P90X upper body workout (sore today!) and then went to DD shower in the afternoon.  It was beautiful and she got many lovely gifts.

Hilary--I'm out of town traveling for work (South Dakota...never been there)  tomorrow and Wednesday....can you do the post????

Eats today:
B1-Jimmy Dean D-lights breakfast sandwich
B2-grilled chicken
L-Lean Cuisine pizza, salad
S-cherries
S-Chobani
D-meatloaf, peas

Dessert-frozen fruit bar

Exercise:  P90X Kenpo

I hope everyone has a great day!!

1Samuel 12:16 "stand and see this great thing which the Lord will do before your eyes"

Our Lord has many great things in store for us.  We just have to be willing to let Him have His way.

Romans 8:31 "If God be for us, who can be against us?

Remember, our WLS is a tool and we must work with our tool for it to work for US.  Follow  your doctor's orders and comply with the rules of the pouch and we will succeed in our own personal weightloss journeys.

Christ's blessings,

Elle

WOW! I can not hardly beleive it, but YES it is TRUE. In just 3 days I will be 5 years post opp. I'm so much happier than I was 5 years ago. This has been a WONDERFUL JOURNEY and I would not change anything at all. I was truly blesses 5 years ago when my WONDERFUL surgeron DR. BRYON FREEMAN preformed my GASTRIC BYPASS. I am today 180 to 185 pounds and I'm able to do a lot of different things that I was unable to do really not so long ago. So I want to say if you follow your DOCTORS orders it can be done. Remember we have been given a WONDERFUL TOOL so use it WELL.
