Monday! Whatcha Eatin? R U Exercising?
OMG it was hot this weekend. DH and I ran 4 miles but we didn't get out until 8:30 so it was already hot. Then at 11:00 we did the yard....I mowed and he did everything else. We wrapped up by laying out for an hour to get some sunshine. Then we rested in the house and ended the day with a BBQ at a friend's house. Yesterday I did some good ole Southern cooking.....homemade fried chicken and fried green tomatoes, cream potatoes and peas...and apple pie and cookies. It was all so yummy, but definitely not the healthiest! I kind of felt like a garbage can after consuming that meal, so today it is back to eating healthy! I sent all the leftovers home with guests so we wont be tempted!! (except the pie and a few cookies for DH....apple pie is one of his faves)
Eats today:
B1-Jimmy Dean D-Lights bagel breakfast sandwich
B2-6 oz grilled chicken breast
L-navy beans, cantaloupe
S-Chobani pineapple yogurt
D-baked chicken and veggies
Dessert-NSA ice cream bar
I still get a little freaked out when I eat stuff that isn't the healthiest, but I'm also trying to live in the real world and allow myself to eat what I want within reason. I still have those demons in my head telling me things are "bad".....I guess I'll fight that forever. I want to remain vigilant, but I also will not get into deprivation mode....that worked so WELL for me pre-surgery, now didn't it??
Tonight is P90X upper body and abs. I didn't work out yesterday.....I was just drained from all the outside time Saturday.
