Did you make resolutions?  I don't do that anymore.  If I want to do something, I set a deadline and make a plan.  I read on this site many people saying "after the 1st I'll..............".  Why wait?  If you want to do something, you hold the power to make it happen!  Start the moment you decide to do it!

I'd like to see each of you post some things you accomplished in 2010 that you are proud of!  I'll go first:

1)  I hit my goal weight in May
2)  I began running and love it!
3)  Completed my first 5k in October
4)  Did not gain any weight over the holidays

Over the weekend I did weights on Saturday and then ran yesterday with my grand-puppy, Doughnut.

Food today:

B-1/2 c cottage cheese with fresh pineapple and 1/2 ww english muffin
S-Kashi bar
L-Lean Cuisine and a pear
S-Chobani strawberry banana
D-frozen Macaroni grill dinner
Dessert-coffee or s/f hot chocolate

I'm having a devil of a time coming off the holiday carbs!  Cold turkey today!!

Exercise tonight:

Something P90X--the bride gets to pick a weight workout tonight.

Good Morning! Im finally back to work and back on track. It felt so good to actually eat healthy this morning!

2010 was not my year. it wasnt a very good one so im looking forward to a brighter 2011. I joined a dating site yesterday. I realized i didnt go out on one single date last year (besides Chris and he doesnt count bc we've been off and on 10 years, we're finally off for good) I dont meet guys, im shy until i get comfortable with people but its terrifying for me to "date" so i just dont do it. well its not fair to me or my child who longs for a father figure. so, i did it.
I also plan to lose these 30-40 lbs. i'll be happy with 30 but im shooting for 40. i WILL do this this year. Food will NOT control me and i will make lots of changes. eating at my desk instead of upstairs is one. They have way to much junk up there and i will also bring my lunch 3-5 days a week (today i failedat this but tomorrow will be better). I can eat healthy at work but my boss likes Five Guys and other junk that simply have no options for me. So i'll have stuff here i can eat instead of settling.

Sorry to ramble. I really have other goals and plans but no resolutions. I never stick to those.

B-1/2c cottage cheese and 1/2 ww bagel thin w/ 1tsp strawberry cream cheese (no peaches bc i was out )
S-Click protein shake
L-1/2 low carb thick burger from hardees after my dr's appt.
S-if needed the rest of my click protein shake. i made it with milk so i can only handle 4-6oz at atime and its a 12 oz shake
D-im going to my aunt Jans for the night, it'll probably be leftovers but i'll chose wisely. roast, black eyed peas is my guess.

Thanks for being such an inspiration to me. I want to be a success just like you so im determined to be just that this year!!

I'm so proud of you for putting yourself out there!  You deserve to find someone to share you life with!  You will be successful this year--set your goal, then make a plan--then the hard part--stick to it.

You can do this, look how far you've come!
