A very hardy hello friends
I have a request. Please keep my sister in your prayers. She lurks on here from time to time as she is looking into the surgery for both her and her son. Many of you know her....Alicia. She just got out of the Hospital this a.m. around 11:30 with a bad bad bad staff infection. It started 2 days before Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving day, she could hardly walk. Momma took her to the ER and she had a temp of 103*. Because she had no insurance, they gave her antibiotics and a shot and sent her home. She moved up here, to Scottsboro almost a month ago. This was a HUGE leap of faith for her to do. She's a momma's girl but she HAD to move to get a fresh start for her and her 2 kids. They packed everything they could in her car and came to my house. When she got here, she went straight to the ER. She is a severe diabetic. They admitted her at once and found she had a Staph infection and MRSA. She is in health care with the elderly and this is probably how she contracted it. She is still VERY sore. Please keep her and her 2 kids in prayer. She's found a place to live close by me. Her son and daughter love the school system here and they really like Scottsboro. That is a good thing. They are so use to being around Nanny. I'm so happy that she is here. She and I have never been really close, but we LOVE each other and I thank God that He is giving me a chance to get to know my sister and things I never knew about her. God is going to help her find a job. I just know it. We appreciate your prayers!! Thank God for new and fresh starts because this is what this little family needed. They are getting just that.
I hate to come here with a request after not being on the board for so long, but I do lurk. God bless you all and it is sooooo good to see new faces.
