Tuesday-Election Day-Whatcha Eatin? Votin? Exercising?
I hope you will all do your civic duty today and get out and vote! If you are happy with the way things are, then support those that got us there. If you are not, this is your chance to make a change!
For those in Alabama--HOW CAN WE NOT ELECT SOMEONE NAMED YOUNG BOOZER???!!!
Last night DH and I went running at the park by the lake-it was crowded so I didn't really enjoy it, and I don't like going around in circles....I'm gonna miss my other path during the winter (no lights for night exercisers). My legs are sore today-especially the knees--this arthitis is a #$%^&! I found that getting in a hot bath right after I run really helps...but last night I opted for the couch and watched the women of SNL. Tonight I have a hair appt so I wont be exercising.
Food:
B-1/2 cup cottage cheese and NSA peaches and english muffin
S-Kashi bar
L-Healthy Choice meal (230 calories), grapes
S-Chobani pineapple yogurt
D-not sure--hubby and I may go out

Here's my food list for today. I'm right at 6 weeks out and adding real food is fantastic!!
B - protein shake with fruit
L - tuna with low fat mayo, dill relish & mustard
D - BBQ pork in the crock pot
I had almonds & dill pickles as snacks today too (so far...)
We've got a field trip Thursday so I'm really happy with the cooler weather! I'm off to the Nutritionist in B'ham tomorrow so she'll tell me if I'm doing this right - LOL

Sounds like you are doing great! And no problems with meats/nuts? That is good news! I never had any food issues either. I just got back from my 18 month follow up with my surgeon....you are going to be shocked at the amazing changes you'll go through over the next year!
