Thursday-Whatcha Eatin? Exercising?

Last night I ended up getting Publix fried chicken for dinner because they didn't have any roasted ones ready (AGAIN!  You'd think they'd figure out how many they need by now!)

I ate a wing and a few bites off  a thigh--it was way too salty.  I got fried because DH loves fried and never gets to eat it...we both regretted it--I brought the left over chicken and potato salad to work this morning and gave it away to a happy co-worker (he LOVES leftovers).

I did notice that I didn't get the "carb coma" I generally get when I eat fried stuff.  I still don't like fried very much-never was a big fan.

Today:

B- 1/2 c 2% cottage cheese and NSA peaches, 1/2 ww eng muffin
S-Great Value tropical trail mix, Kashi bar
L-Healthy Choice chicken alfredo
S-watermelon
D-no clue-I have bunco tonight, so whatever the hostess serves

No exercise for me tonight-I'm headed to Childersburg for Bunco after work.

I am with you on the fried foods.  I feel HORRIBLE after eating them.
Mellowing out before getting ready for work.
Actually have pre-planned a little bit today.

B:   Toasted Oat Cereal with NF milk
S:   Diet Cranberry Grape Juice (only 2g of sugar!)
L:   This is the meal I am not sure about...may pick up something or eat out on the way to work
S:   I am sure a Starbuck's Coffee is in the future today
D:   Baked Spaghetti made with ground turkey (made it yesterday) and mozzarella cheese
S:   Popcorn, green grapes
S:    If I need this last snack it will be a pack of cream cheese and chive crackers


Really need to get something high protein for lunch as the rest of the day looks a little carb heavier than usual.....but I am CRAVING carbs right now...not sure why......HMMMM.

I'm with ya on the carbs....I've had to be really careful because I've wanted them more......maybe it is the heat??

B - 4 slices turkey bacon
S - none
L - 2% cottage cheese & delmonte mandarin orange fruit cup
S - Slim Fast
D - I have nooooo idea!

I do need to get some more protein in for the day. I need some skim milk this evening...I've only had 400 calories so far today...

I've been pouring over good WLS patient recipes for the last couple of days, and found some tasty stuff... some of it I am not ready for, but I need to get a list together for shopping...

I have to have new/different ideas because I get bored with the same old thing FAST! I can't wait until I am less limited in my eating choices...
