Exercise Patterns and Evening Shift

I am having a hard time working exercise into my daily routine.   I work 4p- midnight, and my days off vary.   I get in at least 5-6 miles of walking every night I work.   But it doesn't feel the same.   I usually stay up til 3ish, then sleep late and the cycle continues.......

Anyone out there on an evening shift schedule that has found an exercise pattern that works?

I don't work evenings, but I do find the only way I get my exercise in is to stick to a pattern:  same time on the same days.  For instance, M,T,Th I work out as soon as I get home.  I head straight to the closet, change into workout clothes and go to the basement.  Sat and Sun hubby and I work out together so we usually do it in the morning (depends if we are exercising outdoors/weather/location etc).

Maybe picking set days/times will help form the habit?

I agree Kim.   By the end of September I should have a regular schedule with the same days off each week.  That will make it easier.

A lot of it is on me.   I need to MAKE it a priority and so far sleep has taken precedence.  LOL

Girl, your priorities are in order!  You wont be any good for anything with no sleep!
