Hey Kim! Im going to start posting again. I shy away and my eating goes to crap and ive gained tons of weight. getting back on track isnt so hard as just making the choice to start that day. I always talk myself out of it and say "one more day of eating what i want" well now its the end of July and i still havent started. I suck at this and it will always be a lifelong battle with me. Im only 26 so thats a long time to fight with food lol. Im determined to get in a better mind set and do this. I didnt have surgery and go through everything to still be fat. I just need support and since i get none from around my areai'll just have to find some elsewhere. It honestly helps me to see what everyones eating because then i realize how crappy my eating is and so i change it. SO. for today.

B-Sausage Biscuit
L-"fried" bologna sandwich w/ tomato and mayo
S- snack size kitkat
D-Salad with sandwich ham, cheese, carrots, tomatoes. i dont really like salad veggies but i love salad, wierd i know.

Thats my day. Im thinking of starting the 5DPT on Monday.  i dont know why i feel i always have to start on a Monday, but ive done it that way numerous times before. it does help me get back on track and to finally feel restriction again.

I too ordered P90X i should have it by first of next week. Im also determined to get on my elliptical 3 times a week. something is better than nothing!

We'd love to see your posts again!  I always benefited from them.  And don't worry--you have support, right here on this board!  We will all struggle for the rest of our lives with food....the surgery was only on our insides, not our heads.  Tell us what you need support wise, and we are here for you.  Let me know how you like the P90X!  I have a love/hate relationship with it....it is "easier" now that I've been doing it for several months--but very intense.  I can definitely see changes! I'm gonna love having some P90X'ers on this board!

Hey Hilary!! I just got through with the 5DPT or pouch reset as I like to call it. I needed to do it to get off the carbs. I completed it on Monday. It worked. I was actually able to go to Pizza Hut today and only eat the topping of the pizza. I did not have 1 bite of crust or any cinnastix and I love the cinnastix.
I am like you in that I usually have to wait until Monday to begin anything, but I knew I had to get off the carbs and right away.

I also have just ordered the P90X. I should have mine Friday. I would so like to wait until Monday to begin doing it, but know that if I wait, I won't begin. I am going to try and begin on Friday after it arrives.
 

Glad to see you posting what you eat. It does help. I have recently just began to keep up with my calories and protein only. I usually don't get enough protein. The 5DPT changed that.
 

Good luck. You will have to let me know how you like the P90X. We can always ask Kim questions about it.

Hi Hilary,

I am about 30 minutes from you.  We go to Big Bob's in Decatur on 6th Avenue every now and them.

I think there may be a support group in Huntsville, but I am not sure.  I need to check on that.

hi!! nice to meet you! big bobs potatoes are the devil!!! they do have great salads also!!
I have family in Athens so i travel there frequently!
