I was told that eating your protein is the key and that if your niot eating enough you will lose your hair.
I did and then i made sure to eat lots of cottage cheese, cheese , meat etc and sure enough it stopped and YES , lol, it all  comes back..

From what I understand hair loss is inevitable.  Between the anesthesia and trauma of surgery your body is really pissed at you!  But taking in enough protein will less the effects.  I also take biotin and zinc.  Dunno if it helps, but it can't hurt...LOL

It is just part of the process....mine has finally stopped falling out and I've got tons of 3 inch sprouts where the new growth is coming in.  You can take Biotin and use Nioxin shampoo/conditioner....but it won't stop the loss, it will only help with re-growth.  My hairdresser also had me only washing my hair twice a week during the huge loss phase (if it got really sweaty from working out I'd just rinse it and add a little conditioner).

Don't worry-small price to pay for the benefits of the surgery!
