Very frustrating day yesterday
Good morning everybody!
I had my first visit with my primary care provider (PCP) scheduled since June 17th. My appointment was yesterday morning. I get there and wait to be seen. They finally call me back and THEN tell me that they will not be my PCP for this because it is "too much trouble". I was disappointed. I was mad. I was thinking well this is just great! The more I thought about it the madder I got and I thought FINE! You are not the only doctor's office around here. It took me six hours, but I found another PCP and I had my first appointment yesterday afternoon. I am going to see this through!
For the first time in my life, I am having problems with my blood pressure being high. I am hoping it was just because I was so mad yesterday, but I am going to keep checking my BP daily and keep a record of it for my PCP.
I want to thank all of you who have shared your journey with others here. I am so glad I found this site. I have found a lot of information, wisdom, caring, and comfort here.
I have been drinking Propel water since Sunday. I like it. I never thought I would say that abou****er. :O) No more "cokes" for me!
Day #180 is December 27, so I am looking forward to 2011 as a new start.

I find it amazing that you were told your health care was "too much trouble". I'm afraid we are all in for a shock when Obamacare takes over - doctors will be retiring left & right!
It's best for you that you find a doctor willing to support you thru this process. 2011 is going to be a GREAT year for you! Good luck!
