I've been there Lisa and had to back away. It was a hard thing to do because I thought being involved was just the expected thing. I was a S.S. teacher, a nursery worker, an office worker at the church and believe me, your job doesn't end at 5:00. I was a choir member, in the ensemble, in a trio and my husband and I did most of the catering for the church events. All of this while I was over 300 pounds. I had no idea the stress from my involvement was having such adverse effects on my mental and physical being. It was a hard thing to back away from most of my volunterring but it had to be done. Now I sing in the choir and help with social functions and I am also able to do more activities with my family. I think I've reached a happy medium.
I'll keep you in my prayers.
Debbie
I'll keep you in my prayers.

Hey Debbie,
You do know what I'm going through.....Right now I am under the gun at work. The physician I work for is under a lot of pressure and that translates to a transfer of pressure and workload. This should ease up by the end of July but we have really been working some very long hours the last few months on top of everything that is going on in my personal life.
Thank you for the prayers.
