My family and I will be moving to Ft. Rucker in a month from Ft. Worth, Texas.  Do any of you have any suggestions for lapband doctors that take Tricare, accept new patients, and have good support groups?  I'm looking forward to the move, but this is just one thing that is a little stressful for me right now!  Thanks for your answers!  :)

The only WLsurgeon in the wiregrass area is Dr Scott Robbins.  He does accept tricare, but I don't know if he is accepting new patients or not.  I am guessing he is so money hungry he will accept you and on your fill days make you wait 5-6 hours.  I am trying to get a WL support group started here on post at the clinic.  If you have any questions please feel free to pm me.  I'll give you my cell and we can talk.

Hi,

I'm Lisa, I live in Daleville, about 4 miles from the Ft. Rucker Gate.  I have had Gastric Bypass almost 7 years ago, and my Step-daughter had lap band a little over one year ago.  She uses Dr. Robbins.  If I can help just let me know...and WELCOME to the area!
