WOW!! I Have Not Been Here in a While...

I decided to visit today. Where is everyone? This board has turned into a ghost town!!
I hate that I can't come to the reunion, but I will be working. I had to take off Monday so I can take my Bird to Birmingham. He has been sick since January and c annot keep any solid food down. He is going to a specialist at Childrens' since his docs here have given up on him.
I know I have no right to ask, but will you all say a prayer for him? He is in the home bound school program here, since he can't attend his regular school. He has also lost approximately 40 pounds since January. He is living off Ensure, since solid food won't stay down.

Hey there Renee!!! It is so good to see you. You are missed and you will be missed today. You have every right to request prayer for your baby. Don't ever feel that way. We are here to support each other in all ways. I am praying for Bird and will continue. Please let us know how he is doing. I love you, Renee!!

You were missed yesterday at Oak Mountain. It was a beautiful day.
I am so sorry to hear about Bird. I will keep him in my prayers. Of course you have every right, as a matter of fact you have the responsibility as Bird's mother, to ask for our prayers for him. I hope they find out what is going on in Birmingham! It is sad when a young person is going through something like this. It's hard to see an adult deal with it, much less your baby.
As far as where is everyone? They are like you and me...busy with life and a lot of them are over on facebook. I am there too, but do try to come here too because I think this board is important when other's are researching Bariatric Surgery in our area. Facebook is fun, but it is different. Also for support of those of us who have become a family, somewhat dysfuntional, yet still a family.
Please come back and let us know how Bird is doing, he will have lots of prayers from this board...you can count on it. So will you!
